Sales Manager Jobs in Ohio
A Sales Manager oversees the sales team within a company, sets sales goals and quotas, designs sales strategies, and researches trends. They are responsible for training and mentoring sales staff, reviewing sales performance, and meeting with potential clients to secure new business opportunities. Certifications, such as Certified Professional Sales Person (CPSP), Certified Sales Leadership Professional (CSLP), or Certified Sales Executive (CSE), can be beneficial. Prior to becoming a Sales Manager, a professional may work in roles like Sales Representative, Account Manager, or Business Development Associate.
