Job Description :

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales for our organization. The SVP will be responsible for planning and implementing sales, marketing, and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets. The SVP of Sales will report directly to the CEO and will serve as a member of the executive team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
    2. Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
    3. Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
    4. Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs.
    5. Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
    6. Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
    7. Meet with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
    8. Coordinate liaison between sales department and other sales-related units.
    9. Analyze and control expenditures of the division to conform to budgetary requirements.
    10. Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
    11. Direct product research and development.
    12. Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.

Qualifications:

  1. 10-15 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role, ideally in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.
    2. Proven track record of net-new business development and exceeding sales targets.
    3. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
    4. Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach.
    5. Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
    6. Willingness to travel as required.
    7. Bachelor s degree required, advanced degree preferred.
