Remote P & C Account Manager Part - Time

We are an independent insurance agency based in Los Angeles seeking a highly experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager who is looking for a flexible, part-time role without the stress of production or sales quotas.

This position is specifically for someone who has spent years in the industry and wants to stay engaged on a reduced schedule—without the demands of a full-time agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Service existing Personal Lines and/or Commercial Lines accounts
• Process endorsements, policy changes, and renewals
• Review policies for coverage accuracy and gaps
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and MGAs/wholesalers
• Assist with remarketing when needed (no production pressure)
• Maintain documentation in agency management system (NowCerts)

Ideal Candidate Profile

This role is best suited for someone who:

• Has 10+ years of P&C agency experience
• Has worked as an Account Manager, CSR, or similar role
• Is semi-retired or seeking reduced hours
• Prefers a low-stress, non-sales environment
• Is comfortable working independently and remotely
• Values accuracy, professionalism, and client relationships

Requirements

• CA P&C Insurance License. [Must have or be able to obtian quckly]
• Strong experience with Personal Lines and/or Commercial Lines
• Familiarity with agency workflows and carrier interaction
• Experience with an AMS (NowCerts experience is a plus)
• Active P&C License (preferred but not required if recently inactive)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation

• Hourly or part-time salary (commensurate with experience)
