Demonstrated leadership abilitiesHands on active manager that is involved in all aspects of the sales processWork with general manager, sales team, and finance management team to meet monthly new, used, and F&I objectivesAssist with inventory management for both new and used car departmentsTrack record of developing and mentoring sales consultants, F&I managers and other sales managersMust possess a strong track record of superior results in a high volume dealershipExcellent customer service (CSI) historyMust be willing to and able to consistently work the sales desk and customers turn oversOur GSM's are expected to lead from the front lines, manage and oversee activities of variable operationsMust be a highly detailed process driven leader and be able to hold the staff accountable for resultsAssist sales managers with ensuring volume commitments to the manufacturer are metPartner with the General Manager and meet with managers individually to develop monthly and annual goals and objectives, and to review actual performanceDevelop and maintain a good working relationship with lending institutions and manufacturer personnelCommunicates management policies and procedures to all Team Members' attitudes and build moraleHire, train, supervise and monitor performance of sales associates and managers (new, used and finance)Motivate, reward, and train employeesStrong asset management skills requiredResponsible for making sure CIT list is resolved before deadlinesLead by example and ensure that the core values of the company are encompassed in behavior at all timesOther duties to be determined by management5-8 years of automotive experience preferredStrong used car management skills preferredProven track record and experience as a sales consultant, F&I Manager and Used or New Sales Manager requiredMust be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)
