We are seeking experienced and results-oriented professionals to join our team as Food Ingredients Account Managers . This role is centered around building strong customer relationships and driving commercial success through strategic account management and new client acquisition. Candidates should bring deep industry knowledge and a proven sales track record in the food, beverage, or nutraceutical sectors.
Account Manager Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, developing strategies to increase sales volume and product mix.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound efforts, industry networking, and trade shows.
- Oversee the full sales cycle from initial contact through quotation, negotiation, and post-sale service.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with quality standards.
- Align customer needs with inventory forecasts, delivery schedules, and minimum order requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities and pipeline status using CRM software.
- 510 years of experience in B2B sales or account management, specifically within the food or supplement ingredient space.
- Demonstrated success in growing existing accounts and acquiring new clients.
- Familiarity with ingredients such as vitamins, amino acids, botanicals, and sweeteners, and their end-use applications.
- Understanding of industry-specific compliance requirements, including GMP, FSMA, and global food safety standards.
- Skilled in CRM and ERP systems with the ability to forecast and analyze sales trends.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Food Science, Chemistry, Nutrition, or Business, or equivalent professional experience.
