Job Summary:
The Firehouse Subs team is looking for a Sr. Manager, Business Development, Canada & US Central to join our Firehouse Subs Franchising Team. The Sr. Manager, Business Development leads the efforts on franchising, from initial contact to qualification, to close, within their designated territory.
RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week out of our office in Toronto, ON.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Meet and exceed new restaurant growth targets withnew and existing franchisees in designated territory
Eagerly seek out and identify franchisee candidatesvia sales phone, networking, referrals, social media,road shows and our lead generation marketingpartners
Build and cultivate relationships with franchiseecandidates as a trusted advisor, educating candidateson the Firehouse Subs franchise model and franchisedisclosure document
Align with cross-functional team to understand andmaster market planning
Facilitate introductions of the candidates to otherinternal stakeholders for deal approval
Keep accurate records and provide timely updates in CRM platform
Abide by all state, federal, and local laws pertaining tofranchise sales & disclosure information
Skills & Qualifications:
Degree in Business, Finance, or related field
5+ years of performance-based sales experience, preferablyin the franchise industry
Understanding of franchise business fundamentals, unit-leveloperations, franchise best practices and ideal franchiseowners
Ability to quickly build relationships and motivate others
Ability to accurately forecast and assess risk
Strong financial analysis ability with ability to buildExcel andfinancial modeling for diligence and deal negotiation
Strong organizational, project management, written and oralcommunication skills
Good time management and critical thinking skills
Proactive, assertive and polished leader with a relentlesspursuit
Ability to travel as needed (25% of the time)
Honesty, high integrity, personal accountability and a passionfor the success of the brand, the team, and personal careergrowth
Base salary range of $120,000 $150,000 CAD. Base salary for this position may vary based on relevant factors such as experience, education, location, and skills.
This position is eligible to participate in the Companys annual discretionary bonus plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the incentive program, based on individual and company performance metrics. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation in the form of equity grants pursuant to the Companys long-term incentive plan.
