We are looking for DM MC APS. This position will be based at Alpharetta.
You'll make an impact by:
Market/customer engagement, opportunity mgmt. & deal support
Representing DI to key regional market stakeholders, e.g. at trade fairs, conferences and associations, in social media as Technology and Thought Leader Ambassadors
Engaging with selected high priority customer, e.g., within bid process
Actively driving new technologies and DI AUT offering into Sales organization, e.g., to Sales Acceleration and Sales channels
Supporting Sales Acceleration with expertise in the bid process for major new projects
Analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify new business opportunities and areas for portfolio growth/ expansion and align closely with Account Manager and Technical Sales
Providing (topline) input for new feature business case
Owning the technology vision for the assigned TPEs, identifying business potential for the assigned TPEs
Driving technical sales strategies into and with Technical Sales
Leading the technical aspects of deal structuring and closure
Sales Enablement
Empowering sales teams by providing key tech. insights and sales narratives
Defining and communicate a customer value proposition from a technical perspective for the assigned TPEs
Portfolio Expertise
Providing technical expertise on portfolio selection and fit, supporting both internal sales teams and external customers
Post-Sales support & customer success
Ensuring a seamless handover to delivery teams, ensuring smooth service execution and solution delivery e.g., facilitate customer onboarding, adoption, and satisfaction to drive long-term customer retention and growth
Customer & market feedback
Providing feedback to portfolio development teams based on market requirements and customer insights
Advocating for technology and service adopt ion at executive levels, supporting long-term business transformation initiatives
Rolling-out focus initiatives
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Siemens Digital Industries automation & drives products or competitors corresponding products for the discrete OEM industries
- 8+ years of prior sales experience within Industrial Automation
- Solid technical background and best with hands-on engineering experience for our DI AUT automation & drives portfolio
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years sales management experience, and prior experience working within Automation & Drive Systems
- Ability for structured & analytic approach to analyze status, propose measures, implement and follow-up.
- Teamwork spirit.

The pay range for this position is $91,463 - $156,794 annually with a target incentive of 20 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
