We are seeking an experienced Business Development Leader to join our team as Vice President of Customer Requirements and Advocacy. As a key member of our Electronic Systems team, you will be responsible for leading strategic customer relationship management, providing market awareness, and driving business growth with military customers and prime vendors supporting the Department of War.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate Electronic Systems participation in regional customer events, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs at a Senior level.
- Develop and execute regular contact plans with customers, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution
- Provide market awareness and deep mission understanding of warfighter needs and requirements, informing business development and capture strategies
- Support individual business development and capture activities, including deal closure and stakeholder management
- Lead a team of personnel to grow the Integrated Business Plan (IBP) with quality orders, prioritizing customer needs and setting staff workload to maximize impact
- Lead and ensure that BAE Systems leadership has regular contact plans with our customers and that they execute those plans with confidence.
