Business Development Manager - MMG Engineered Extrusions
Location: Franklin, NH
Reports To: President
Company Description Momentum Manufacturing Group - Engineered Extrusions is New England s largest custom aluminum extrusion manufacturer and one of the largest custom aluminum extrusion manufacturers in North America. We serve OEMs with cost-effective and highly efficient solutions for aluminum profiles and components. Our end-to-end capabilities include design for manufacturing (DFM), extrusion, CNC machining, fabrication, finishing, component assembly, and full supply chain support.
Role Description The Business Development Manager plays a key role in expanding MMG Engineered Extrusions presence in the Power Management, Data Center/IT Infrastructure, and Factory Automation markets.
Daily responsibilities include researching and qualifying market opportunities, identifying new customers, managing the sales pipeline, preparing proposals, delivering customer presentations, and collaborating closely with Inside Sales, Operations, and Engineering to ensure customer needs are met. Success in this role will be measured by revenue growth, pipeline development, customer satisfaction, and the ability to build sustainable, long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, target, and develop new OEM customer opportunities in priority markets
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline aligned with growth objectives
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and opportunity qualification
Partner with Inside Sales, Engineering, and Operations to define solutions, pricing, and lead times
Maintain clear CRM documentation, forecasting, and reporting
Support long-term strategic planning for new markets and product opportunities
Utilize modern tools including LinkedIn and social media channels to identify and engage new prospects
Build strong relationships that support repeat business and customer loyalty
Qualifications
Familiarity with aluminum extrusion, manufacturing, or industrial sectors is a plus
Proven track record in sales or business development, including lead generation and account management
Strong prospecting skills, including comfort with LinkedIn or social media-based outreach and modern sales tools
Experience in project management, strategic planning, and customer-facing presentations
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as DFM, aluminum extrusion, CNC machining, or related fields
Proficiency in market research, data analysis, CRM systems, and reporting tools
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
Results driven mindset with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets
Education Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
