Sub-Zero Group South Central, an Affiliate Distributor of high-end luxury appliances, seeks a Builder Account Manager (BAM) to cover a Central Texas (including Austin and San Antonio) based territory.

It is the BAM's role to grow sales revenue and increase brand penetration across the designated territory through highly focused business development activities.

Major responsibilities will include:

  • Calling on and generating sales to high-end builders and developers
  • Locating new builder projects, making contact with the purchasing team, preparing detailed spreadsheets, and preparing project-specific binders and power point presentations
  • Completing job walks/pre-site inspections – making sure our product specs are correct prior to delivery and installation
  • Keeping up with/cultivating relationships with the current builder network
  • Prospecting for new builders in the assigned territory
  • Working with the Trade team to identify residential architects and designers working on projects in this territory

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in a sales/territory management environment; preferably with builders
  • Previous knowledge or experience with builders and trade in Central Texas preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong presentation and selling skills
  • Sales analytics and forecasting
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate working evening events, some early mornings, occasional weekend events; including willingness to travel overnight
