A rapidly growing consumer goods company in Columbus, OH is seeking a Sales Director to lead their sales team. This is a high-impact role where your leadership will directly shape the future of the business. As Sales Director, you'll oversee all direct sales channels including B2B, retail, and wholesale. Your focus will be on leading and developing a high-performing team, fostering a culture of friendly competition, and driving lead generation across multiple channels.
What You'll Do
Lead and coach a team of 6 sales professionals, joining client meetings and providing hands-on support
Oversee lead generation across phone, email, internet, and in-person channels
Drive sales strategy and execution across B2B, retail, and wholesale
Collaborate with marketing on digital initiatives
Build a team culture that values collaboration, accountability, and results
Focus on new business development
What You Bring
Proven experience managing a sales team, ideally in a high-growth or consumer goods environment
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Proficiency with Salesforce and Excel
Ability to inspire and motivate a team while holding high standards
A track record of building scalable sales processes in a growing company
Experience in the consumer goods or food & beverage industry is a strong plus
