As a Business Development Manager, Connected Solutions, you'll play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our organization. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing strategic initiatives, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You'll be at the forefront of shaping our company's future by introducing innovative projects and expanding our market presence.

This position will serve our Enterprise Division, located in Roswell, GA (Hybrid).

  • Strategic Project Management: Oversee and manage strategic projects aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Develop project plans, set milestones, and monitor progress to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • New Business Development: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to develop strategies for market expansion.
  • Create and execute business development plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Financial Analysis and Decision-Making: Use financial techniques to analyze complex strategic issues and formulate hypotheses.
  • Prioritize program opportunities based on sales/margin goals and long-term profitability.
  • Make data-driven decisions to determine appropriate strategies for business development.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain positive professional relationships with existing clients and potential partners.
  • Network with industry leaders, attend conferences, and participate in relevant forums.
  • Leverage connections to explore new business avenues and foster collaboration.
  • Innovation and Creativity:Introduce innovative ideas, products, and services to enhance our competitive edge.
  • Propose creative solutions for business challenges and adapt to changing market dynamics.
  • Foster an entrepreneurial spirit within the team and encourage out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is typically required.
  • At least 7 years of experience in strategy and/or business development, preferably in consumer-oriented industries (e.g., CPG or retail)
  • Significant experience participating in and leading teams through periods of growth, organizational change, acquisition, consolidation, and integrations.
  • Advanced degrees (e.g., master's) are beneficial for more senior positions.
  • Strong knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and partners.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strategic acumen and the ability to think critically about business opportunities.
