About the Role

As the Business Development Manager at Inhabit IQ, you will lead and inspire a team of 8-10 Business Development Representatives (BDRs) within our Commercial Sales organization. Your primary mission will be to drive revenue growth through strategic outbound prospecting and the development of new business opportunities.

We're looking for a dynamic, results-driven leader with a sharp business acumen, creative problem-solving skills, and a passion for developing high-performing sales teams. This role operates in a fast-paced, competitive, and collaborative environment that rewards initiative and celebrates success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 8-10 BDRs to exceed pipeline generation goals.

  • Conduct regular one-on-one and group coaching sessions to enhance messaging, outreach strategy, and overall performance.

  • Oversee the onboarding and continuous training of new BDRs to ensure rapid integration and success.

  • Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Design and implement creative outreach strategies to engage new accounts and expand market reach.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Executives and other departments to align strategies and drive seamless lead handoff and conversion.

  • Establish a scalable and repeatable sales process to drive efficiency and results.

  • Performance Management

  • Set clear expectations and KPIs, monitor team and individual performance, and deliver actionable feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Utilize performance analytics and KPIs (e.g., lead quality, conversion rates, outreach activity) to refine strategies and drive data-informed decision-making.

  • Develop and launch monthly and quarterly sales contests to maintain team energy and motivation.

  • Cultivate a positive, accountable, and results-driven team culture rooted in collaboration and a growth mindset.

  • Act as a champion for innovation, best practices, and operational excellence within the Sales Development function.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience leading sales or business development teams, preferably within high-growth SaaS or SMB environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing high-velocity lead generation and sales development operations.
  • Proficiency in sales and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Marketo, or similar platforms.
  • Experience building scalable sales processes and optimizing CRM systems for growth and efficiency.
  • Track record of supporting rapid SaaS growth to $20M+ in revenue.
  • Creative thinker with proven experience developing campaigns that engage, convert, and retain target audiences.
  • Strong background in sales reporting, strategic planning, and executive-level communication.
  • Experience in the property management or vacation rental software space is a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
