Eco-Adapt is an innovative start-up in the field of industrial IoT and energy efficiency, which joined the Schaeffler Group in 2023. We have developed 2 solutions (Hardware and Software) enabling:
- Energy consumption monitoring for Industry 4.0,
- Predictive maintenance of rotating machines to optimize the availability of industrial assets.
These solutions are easy to install, high-performing and allow for aggressive pricing. As a result, they can be deployed at scale and have very strong commercial potential. We sell them directly to industrial sites as well as through partners.
We are based in the heart of Paris (9th arrondissement), with a young team of around 30 people, and are looking to continue our development by finding our future OEM Business Development Manager to help us achieve our growth ambitions through partnerships with manufacturers of rotating machinery.
Mission:
The OEM Business Development Manager mission is to develop partnerships with manufacturers of industrial rotating machines (pumps, compressors, fans, etc.). The objective is for these OEMs to integrate Eco-Adapt solutions into their own range of products and services. He/she will report directly and interact daily with the Industry Business Development Director.
Responsibilities:
Target and qualify companies to prospect,
Prospect by phone or email,
Present the solutions to relevant decision-makers within these companies, highlighting the value of our solutions applied to machine reliability and/or energy efficiency issues specific to the OEM,
Define, sell and follow-up of Pilot Projects to prove technological performance on test benches and/or operational machines, as well as demonstrate economic value,
Build offers that match the maturity and goals of each OEM regarding "smart industry" topics with clear definition of:
Machine fleet target: new sales, installed base,
Required level of technical integration,
Commercial terms and organization to ensure large-scale deployment,
Secure commercial framework agreements
Manage the commercial relationship after contract signature (account management).
Vos qualifications
Required Profile:
- French engineering degree from a Group A+/A
- 4-8 years of experience, including in strategy or transformation consulting AND in a related industrial business development context (electric motors, power electronics, analysis and sensors, rotating machine OEM)
- Fluency in technical subjects and strong interest in technological products and Industry 4.0 topics.
- Fluency in French and English. Fluency in German is a strong plus.

- Autonomy and ability to self-organize and manage a sales pipeline,
- Performance culture: daring, enjoying challenges, rigorous in quantifying and tracking progress.
- Knowledge in electrotechnics or in-depth knowledge of the sector is a plus.
