Lead Sales Representative (Remote)

Job Overview:
Hydra Cup is seeking an ambitious Remote Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in innovative shaker bottles designed for the fitness industry. This role is fully remote but requires attending key industry expos approximately 6–12 times per year to represent our brand, build relationships, and close sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage and nurture leads provided by the company.

  • Follow up consistently on product samples sent to prospective clients.

  • Actively schedule and conduct virtual and phone meetings with prospective clients.

  • Attend and represent Hydra Cup at prominent fitness and industry expos globally (6–12 events per year).

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with gyms, supplement companies, boutique fitness stores, and major retailers.

  • Maintain CRM accuracy for leads, follow-ups, meetings, and pipeline management.

  • Supervise and manage a virtual assistant responsible for repetitive tasks such as lead gathering and sending initial outreach messages to warm up leads.

  • Actively engage prospects and leads through social media channels, primarily Instagram and TikTok, in addition to traditional platforms like LinkedIn.

Compensation Plan:

Base Salary: $80,000/year ($6,667/month)

Yearly Commission Structure (Revenue-Based):

  • $0 – $250,000: 0%

  • $250,001 – $500,000: 7.5%

  • $500,001 – $1,000,000: 10%

  • $1,000,001 and above: 12.5% (accelerator)

Example Total Earnings:

  • Total commission on $1,000,000 sales:

    • $0 on first $250,000

    • $18,750 on next $250,000 (7.5%)

    • $50,000 on next $500,000 (10%)

    • Total Commission: $68,750

    • Total Earnings (including base): $148,750

  • Total commission on $2,000,000 sales:

    • $68,750 (first $1M, as above)

    • $125,000 on next $1,000,000 (12.5%)

    • Total Commission: $193,750

    • Total Earnings (including base): $273,750

Repeat Order Commission:

  • Within 4 months of initial order: Add to total yearly commission structure above

  • Between 4–8 months: 5%

  • Between 8–12 months: 3%

Commission Payment:

  • Paid quarterly, following customer payment receipt

  • Initial 4-month commission advance ($2,500/month, recoverable)

Important Commission Note (Price Thresholds):

To ensure that sales are profitable and align with Hydra Cup’s business objectives, certain minimum price thresholds must be met for deals to qualify for the full commission rates described above. These price thresholds will be clearly defined and detailed in the final employment contract provided before the start of employment.
Example: Orders of 20,000 units must meet a price per unit of $2.00.

Annual Commission Reset:

The commission structure is calculated on an annual basis. At the beginning of each new year, revenue totals reset to zero, and commission tiers restart.

Licensing Deal Incentive (IP Licensing):

  • Any revenue generated from licensing agreements involving Hydra Cup’s IP will be added to your sales total.

  • Licensing revenue is included in your commission structure, but commissions are paid only during the first year of each agreement.

  • Licensing revenue helps you reach higher commission tiers faster.

Structured Weekly Schedule (Full-Time):

  • Morning (8:00–10:30 AM): Daily planning, prospecting outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok)

  • Mid-Morning (10:45 AM–12:00 PM): Lead follow-up

  • Early Afternoon (1:00–3:00 PM): Client meetings and virtual demos

  • Afternoon Admin Block (3:00–3:30 PM): CRM updates, proposals, admin tasks

  • Late Afternoon (3:45–5:00 PM): Training, industry research, or additional prospecting

Weekly KPIs and Accountability:

  • Daily outreach volume: 50–100 contacts (with at least 10 new contacts per day)

  • Weekly meeting target: 5–10 virtual or phone meetings

  • Monthly sales target: Revenue milestones aligned with commission tiers

  • Mandatory CRM updates and weekly activity reports for performance tracking

Travel Requirements:

  • Attend 6–12 global fitness expos annually to represent Hydra Cup, generate leads, and close deals

  • Company covers all approved travel and event-related expenses
