" content="Sales Support Specialist Responsibilities Field incoming calls from current customers and prospects Respond to customer concerns and inquiries, explain available services, provide pricing information, take orders, develop leads, and sell products and services while maintaining a high standard of customer service Coordinate with various employees, departments, and sales agents to resolve customer issues when necessary Perform customer service responsibilities to maintain a superior level of customer satisfaction Cross-sell or upsell products and services to existing customers Assist with or prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts for existing customers and prospects Follow-up on provided quotes to close new business Assist with the management of the day-to-day operations of the fuel and service departments Schedule and dispatch employees and subcontractors, as needed, to appropriate locations Assist with preparing daily delivery/service schedules and routes Review account aging reports and contact customers (via phone, email, and letter) for payment Provide support to prospects that want to become customers and walk through each step of the application process Assist the Credit Department with functions of credit and collections, including reviewing accounts receivable aging reports and contacting customers for payment Perform a variety of analytical and billing functions, including the review and management of daily reports to ensure customer billing accuracy and compliance with internal controls Assist with continuous process improvement projects related to billing controls, quality & efficiency Research and resolve billing issues utilizing analytical and reporting tools Assist in performing all administrative duties required by the NYC DOB and DEP regarding inspections and associated mechanical work On completion of all mechanical sales and service, follow-up with all customers to ensure exemplary service was performed, and follow-up as necessary for any and all additional work Serve as an Account Executive to select accounts, if assigned to you from Management, which are identified as priority house accounts Grow and nurture customer relationships throughout the customer life cycle Generate qualified sales leads utilizing networking groups, associations, partnerships, and independent sources Develop and implement new strategies to improve scheduling efficiency or reduce costs Ad hoc projects and assignments, analysis, customer audits and data clean-up " />
