The Account Executive will operate in a hybrid sales capacity, balancing new business development with account management. This individual will manage the full sales cycle and work closely with internal technical teams to deliver tailored technology solutions that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and referrals
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through closing
- Build and expand relationships within an assigned territory
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized solutions for clients
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
- Maintain sales pipeline activity and forecasts within CRM systems
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in sales, ideally within technology, managed services (MSP), or SaaS environments
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills
- Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, ConnectWise, or similar)
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and relationship-focused approach
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel locally for client meetings and events
- Experience selling IT services, cloud solutions, or managed services
- Established network within the St. Cloud or greater Minnesota business community
- Familiarity with solution-based or consultative sales methodologies
