The National Account Manager is responsible for managing high-value national motor carrier accounts, driving revenue growth, and strengthening strategic partnerships across key markets. This role ensures TRAC remains the preferred chassis provider by delivering value-driven solutions, expanding market presence, and aligning customer needs with organizational objectives.Overview:
The National Account Manager is responsible for managing high-value national motor carrier accounts, driving revenue growth, and strengthening strategic partnerships across key markets. This role ensures TRAC remains the preferred chassis provider by delivering value-driven solutions, expanding market presence, and aligning customer needs with organizational objectives.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of National Motor Carrier accounts representing a significant portion of Motor Carrier annual revenue.
- Lead business development efforts within various national markets
- Build, manage, and expand strong relationships with major trucking companies, positioning TRAC as the preferred chassis provider.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, developing a deep understanding of operational needs, challenges, and long-term goals.
- Identify and execute opportunities to increase chassis utilization and introduce new service offerings.
- Strengthen TRAC’s presence across national trucking networks through strategic engagement and partnership development.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements, structuring competitive and sustainable deals that align customer requirements with company objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent service delivery, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor account performance, identify risks and opportunities, and develop action plans to drive growth.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or logistics industry.
- Proven ability to manage large, complex national accounts.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify growth opportunities and execute initiatives.
- Ability to travel as needed to support national accounts.
