Job Summary

The Sales Coordinator supports the execution of sales strategies and day-to-day account operations for assigned product lines. This role partners closely with sales, brokers, and customers to ensure accurate order processing, strong account relationships, and data-driven decision-making. The position combines coordination, analysis, and operational support to help drive sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions

Sales & Account Coordination
  • Support ongoing sales initiatives, including promotions, pricing programs, and sales incentives.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate with brokers, customers, and internal teams to support account needs and business objectives.
  • Assist in preparing customer presentations and supporting retailer engagement efforts.

Order Management & Operations
  • Manage incoming purchase orders, returns, and account-related transactions.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies related to pricing, product, or shipping.
  • Support accounts receivable activities, including collections follow-up as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for markdowns, discontinued items, and advertising agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and applicable trade, shipping, and packaging regulations.

Data & Reporting
  • Collect and analyze sales performance data to generate insights and regular reporting.
  • Maintain and manage data within customer portals and internal systems.
  • Support inventory monitoring and adjustments for assigned accounts.
  • Research and validate credits, deductions, and allowances.

Cross-Functional Support
  • Partner with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to support account success.
  • Act as a liaison between brokers, customers, and internal leadership to align priorities and resolve issues.

Additional Responsibilities

  • May support coordination of activities for sales or marketing team members.
  • Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to trade shows, seminars, customer/distributor meetings and presentations.
  • Support company policies, programs, and safety initiatives.
  • Maintain an organized and professional work environment.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related field from a four-year college or university.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales support, account coordination, or related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to and interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data reporting tools.

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel; and talk or hear.
  • The employee must exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, and field of vision.
