Junkluggers is a nationally recognized, eco-friendly junk removal franchise growing fast across Southeast Michigan. We're not just looking for someone to fill a seat we're looking for a sharp, driven person who can walk into a room, build relationships, and turn conversations into business. This internship is a real role with real responsibility, and the right person will have the opportunity to grow into a permanent position as the company scales.
What Makes This Role Different:
This isn't a coffee-fetching internship. You'll be out in the field, representing the brand, opening doors, building relationships and following through until deals close. You'll get real sales experience, build a real professional network, and have your results directly tied to company growth and your own earnings.
What you'll do:
* Walk into target businesses and introduce our services and mission
* Attend 3-5 networking events each week along with community functions to build relationships and generate referrals
* Promote Junkluggers' services and eco-friendly mission in a way that connects with each prospect
* Follow up relentlessly turn warm conversations into booked jobs through consistent, professional outreach
* Track leads, contacts, and activity report back on what's working and what's not
* Participate in occasional promotional and community events alongside the team
* Public Relations - look for opportunities to promote company throughout community
* Social Media Influencer - posting and sharing community events, eco friendly focus and promo opportunities
* Bring ideas if you see an opportunity, speak up and go after it
What we're looking for:
* Current college student or recent graduate business, marketing, communications, public relations or related field a plus
* Exceptional communication skills you can talk to anyone, from a 22-year-old agent to a 75-year-old homeowner
* Outstanding follow-up and follow-through this is non-negotiable; leads die without it
* Self-starter mentality you don't need to be told twice and you don't wait around
* Naturally personable and able to build trust quickly
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
* Competitive, results-driven mindset you want to see your work pay off

* Flexible Hours - create your own schedule during business hours (Monday - Friday and occassional Saturday events)

* Flexible Hours with portion of time working from home
