Role Overview
At Ann Sacks, our DesignSales Consultants (DSCs) are the heart and soul of our success in the luxuryinteriors industry. Our DSCs inspire the industrys top designers and socialmedia influencers to transform their most important spaces with our world classselection. DSCs play a pivotal rolein driving sales through engaging and impactful interactions, and business development skills. Whether leveraging our stunning showrooms, collaboratingwith trade professionals in their design studios, or making virtualpresentations to support client projects, DSCs showcase their exceptionalability to connect and build lasting relationships. They are dedicated tocultivating a thriving book of business with both current and potential clientsacross assigned territories or business segments. Success in this position is measuredthrough achievement of net order/sales goals, client satisfaction, and overallbrand stewardship.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship & Business Development
- Maintain and grow sales with dedicated architect and interior design firms within your assigned territory.
- Conduct a minimum of 15 presentations or lunch and learns per month, typically outside of the showroom.
- Develop new relationships and business for Ann Sacks to meet/exceed sales goals.
Make outside sales calls to develop and grow client base, promoting brand awareness and new products. - Demonstrate persistence and tenacity to reactivate dormant accounts, follow up on leads, and develop a healthy pipeline of business.
- Network with the professional trade through involvement in associations, meetings and events; including in-store events.
Customer Service
- Contribute to an inclusive, welcoming, and gracious work environment for colleagues and clients.
- Offer prompt, friendly, and gracious service, balancing appointments and walk-in traffic to ensure client satisfaction and deliver sales results.
- Maintain an organized and aesthetically pleasing showroom environment.
Drive & Manage Sales Process
- Conduct outside sales calls, with a focus on targeted top-selling and high-potential accounts, marketing new and featured products.
- Leverage Salesforce to manage customer relationships, interactions, leads and opportunities to demonstrate an accurate pipeline.
- Follow up on leads / quotes regularly to close business, processing paperwork accurately.
- Create and execute marketing plans and in-store events.
- Collaborate with Customer Care team to track orders and ensure quality service.
Continuous Learning
- Develop detailed knowledge of all product lines and features, utilizing internal resources and peer network to establish expertise.
- Participate in internal training sessions and online learning to enhance product knowledge, and job skills such as presenting, negotiating, and closing sales.
Skills/Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years sales experience required. Strong preference given to prior experience in interior or architecturaldesign or luxury retail sales.
Education: Coursework, certificate or degree in interior design,business management, or marketing is preferred but not required. Candidateswith a variety of educational backgrounds and experiences are encouraged toapply.
Software: Experience with Windows operating systems andintermediate skills with MS Office suite are required. Experience withSalesforce or a CRM program is highly preferred.

Environment & Physical Requirements
This role performs work primarily in a showroomenvironment. This includes regular movement throughout the space to meet withclients, view products, and engage in consultative selling work. Regularstanding, walking, sitting, talking etc. Work is also performed at a desk, withregular use of standard office equipment such as typing, phones, viewingscreens etc. Frequent lifting of tile samples & boards, upto 20 pounds throughout the day.

This means youll have access to your applicable benefit programs from your first day on the job, with no waiting period. The base salary for this position is $65,000 plus a competitive commission. The specific commission earned to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors.
