This is a seasonal, on-call position ideal for individuals seeking consistent weekend work in a professional retail environment. The role will begin after July 4th and continue through the end of August or early September, depending on operational needs.
About the Role:
As a Store Associate, you'll play an important role in helping families prepare for the school year by providing a welcoming and organized shopping experience. Responsibilities include:
-Provide exceptional customer service in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
-Assist parents and children during school uniform fittings and order placement, including taking accurate measurements and offering sizing recommendations to ensure the best fit.
-Build positive relationships with families by providing personalized shopping guidance, answering inquiries, and capturing memorable student photos.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented store environment at all times.
-Help oversee the day-to-day care of the store, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed.
-Maintain the line in an orderly fashion and clear of trash and debris.
Schedule & Compensation:
-$25/hour
-Seasonal, on-call position
-Weekend availability required (Saturday and/or Sunday)
-Full shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM
-Employment runs from after July 4th through late August or early September, based on business needs
-Professional, customer-focused retail environment
Who We're Looking For:
-Friendly, approachable, and service-oriented
-Excellent communication and organizational skills
-Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
-Reliable, punctual, and professional
-Previous retail or customer-facing experience is a plus
-Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
-Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing occasional light lifting
-Comfortable and able to work around children.
