POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Development Representative will be responsible for selling high quality personal protective equipment to authorized distributors in a competitive market against established competitors. Must be willing to prospect and find new opportunities, service and grow existing customer accounts, and have strong closing skills. The ideal candidate must be a highly motivated, team-oriented individual with a desire for high personal achievement and winning. We are looking for a competitive individual who can grow assigned accounts, take direction, be flexible, and who works well in a fast-paced environment. Previous sales experience, negotiating, closing, or account management is helpful.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Make 60 outbound sales calls daily to generate new business from new and existing customers in assigned territory.
Developing and building relationships is a critical component of this role.
Assist in managing the sales process of providing pricing, order tracking, and complaint resolution.
This role will include heavy call and email volume.
RequirementsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE & OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Bachelors Degree or 5+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in a phone sales environment
Microsoft Office proficient
Excellent phone skills/ etiquette
Assertive and experienced in conflict resolution
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Prophet 21 is a plus
Proficiency with maintaining up to date contact information in our CRM (HubSpot).
Territory/account management skills
Willingness to travel 2-3 times annually
