Outside Sales Representative to drive new business development and expand existing customer relationships across assigned territories (Orlando, WPB/Ft. Lauderdale, Cocoa/Cape Canaveral).
This position is responsible for selling commercial fuel, lubricants, DEF, fleet fueling solutions, fuel management systems, and related services to businesses operating in transportation, construction, marine, industrial, municipal, agriculture, and commercial markets.
The ideal candidate is a disciplined, relationship-driven sales professional with strong prospecting ability, market awareness, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, highly competitive industry.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Prospect and develop new commercial fuel and lubricant accounts within assigned territory
Identify opportunities with fleet operators, construction companies, municipalities, industrial accounts, marine operators, and transportation businesses
Conduct cold calls, site visits, networking activities, and customer presentations
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
Account Management
Maintain and grow existing customer relationships
Conduct regular account reviews and identify expansion opportunities
Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
Coordinate with dispatch, supply, credit, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Fuel & Lubricant Sales
Sell diesel fuel, gasoline, lubricants, DEF, fleet fueling services, and fuel management systems
Recommend lubricant solutions based on equipment applications and customer needs
Educate customers on operational efficiencies, reliability, and supply security
Promote value-added services including tank monitoring and fuel management technology
Pricing & Market Intelligence
Monitor rack market movements and competitive activity
Develop competitive pricing strategies while protecting company margins
Communicate market conditions and supply impacts to customers
Maintain awareness of terminal activity, allocation events, and market disruptions
Territory Management
Manage assigned territory with a structured sales plan
Maintain CRM activity, opportunity tracking, and forecasting
Prioritize high-potential accounts and strategic growth opportunities
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
Qualifications:
Preferred Experience
3+ years of outside sales experience
Experience in fuel, lubricants, industrial, fleet, transportation, or related industries preferred
Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills
Experience managing a sales pipeline and territory
Knowledge & Skills
Strong communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Professional presentation and customer service skills
Understanding of commercial sales processes and margin management
CRM proficiency and Microsoft Office experience
Valid drivers license with clean driving record
