Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, highbandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks,Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable theelectronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEM'sglobally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design,sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking an FieldSales Engineering Intern to join our team. The position will be located in SantaClara, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our customer's ultimate success depends on our ability to solve cutting edgeproblems in relation to Backplane, Mezzanine, High Speed Cables, Optics,Commercial/Industrial Products and Power. We value our relationships with thesecompanies and we depend on our Sales Engineering Teams to foster this ongoingpartnership.

What you'll do:

Gain Experience!

Develop your professional experience through exposure to executivemanagement and mentorship opportunitiesLearn industry market knowledge by collaborating with peers and internalsales team on strategic initiativesExposure to the latest and greatest technology for interconnect solutionsShadow a full-time sales engineer to learn how to interface with ourcustomers, as well as learn how to sell and promote our products within assignedterritories and accounts.Prepare materials and participate in product presentationsResearch and help devise strategies to differentiate our products andsolutions from our competitorsDevelopment and execution of a sales planResearch our customer base to increase penetration at existing and futureaccountsAssist with customer service-based inquiries to solve complex interconnectproblems

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate would be pursuing their Bachelors in Mechanical orElectrical Engineering fieldThe role will draw on either your electronic engineering background (signaltransmission, DSP, EMI/EMC, signal integrity) and / or your mechanicalengineering background (materials, tolerance analysis, CAD tools).Knowledge of interconnect solutions industry is a plus
