Amphenol High Speed and Commercial Products Groups are the market leaders forhigh speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom andDiverse market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Ourproducts help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler forall the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our global headquarters are located inNashua, NH and we have design, sales, and manufacturing locations globally. Weare currently seeking an Account Manager to join our West Coast Sales team inSanta Clara, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Account Manager is the voice of the customer into the organization as wellas the voice of Amphenol out to the customer. This highly visible role will haveresponsibility for one of the largest OEM customers within the High SpeedProducts Group. The position requires excellent communication skills but alsohas a substantial focus on financial and market data.

Preparing monthly and quarterly revenue projections for the account(s)Forecast analysis and preparing book-to-ship estimatesPreparing negotiation strategy in conjunction with sales and product linemanagement, submitting proposals and negotiating order fulfillment agreements tomaximize shareCoordinating customer activities, including product ramp strategies andresolution of delivery, quality, inventory, and financial issues in aninternational environmentPrepare market share goals and work with sales, product management andoperations to achieve those objectives and resolve any shortfalls to the planIdentify end customer market analysis/opportunities and develop plans tofulfill gaps to close the total available market space

A successful candidate will be skilled at working with a high level of detailand will be able to manage multiple tasks for customers in a time sensitiveenvironment. They will also make presentations to top management; organizationalskills and summarizing conclusions via data analysis is an important part of theposition. To do so requires a strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPointand the ability to communicate effectively. Some travel may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BS Degree in Marketing, Business or related area, MBA preferredAdvanced PC Skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint, working ability withV-lookups, Pivot Tables, and other more advanced excel skills3+ year of experience in Marketing, Customer Service, Planning or FinanceAbility to effectively communicate across multiple functions internally andexternallyStrong oral and written communications to provide high level customerservice and build relationshipsDetail-oriented with keen business acumen

The base salary range for this position is $68,320 - $104,400 annually. Indetermining rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatoryfactors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industryexperience, qualifications, skills, and education. It would be rare for anindividual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a given role. Basesalary is one facet of Amphenol's total rewards package which includesparticipation in our comprehensive benefits program with medical, dental, andvision benefits effective day 1, vacation, sick leave, personal days, paidholidays, life insurance, short/long term disability, and matching 401K.
