The Assistant Commercial Manager's main responsibility is to support the Commercial Manager of the assigned property(ies) with daily operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to marketing, administration, property maintenance and security, record keeping, and reporting.

Customer Service:
- Assist in day-to-day operations of the property management company
- Provide direct communication with and assistance to tenant
- Respond directly and immediately to property-related issues as they arise
- Procure necessary materials or services for property maintenance, as needed
- Collaborate with property management team to create advertisement materials
- Utilize productivity software to generate and deliver communications for tenants and other stakeholders
- Supervise community and property management employees, including maintenance crew
- Respond to requests from local governments and communities to ensure legal compliance in all managed properties
Leasing:
- Assist with advertising and marketing, including web site postings, as directed by Regional Manager and Owner
- Stay familiar with market competition and rental rates update market comps quarterly, more frequently if facing high vacancies
- Field inquiry calls to prospective tenants
- Approve all applicant files prior to move in and complete all new move in paperwork
- Meet with tenants at lease renewal, discuss any concerns,
- Maintain good vendor relations; supervise and inspect all vendor/contractor work
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, additional education preferred
- Notary certification a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (email and calendaring), basic math, and use of Property Management software, Yardi and commercial cafe experience preferred
- Excellent references
- Available to work periodic evenings or weekends

- Correct business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
