Inside Sales Representative – Window & Door Specialist Are you a detail-oriented sales professional who knows the difference between a casing and a jamb? We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative (Fenestration Specialist) to join our team and serve as the go-to expert for our local contractor and builder network.

What You'll Do:

• Partner with Pros: Provide expert, consultative guidance to contractors on custom window, door, and millwork solutions.
  
  
• Blueprint Take-offs: Read construction plans to accurately estimate and configure whole-house window and door packages.
  
  
• Manage Orders: Generate precise quotes, process orders in our POS system, and cross-sell essential installation accessories (flashing, sealants, trim).
  
  
• Vendor Coordination: Act as the main link between the branch and manufacturer reps to track custom orders, lead times, and warranties.
  
  

What We're Looking For:

• Industry Experience: 1–2 years of experience in building materials (windows, doors, siding, or millwork are a massive plus).
  
  
• Technical Chops: Ability to handle custom configurations (Low-E variants, impact ratings, non-standard sizing) and a comfort level using ordering software.
  
  
• Soft Skills: Sharp attention to detail, strong multitasking abilities, and a collaborative team attitude.

Responsibilities

Inside Sales (Fenestration Specialist) | ABC Supply

Core Sales & Operations

• Consultative Sales: Assist contractors with product selection for windows, doors, and millwork.
  
  
• Quote & Order Management: Process incoming phone/email requests, generate accurate quotes, and enter orders into the POS system.
  
  
• Cross-Selling: Use project checklists to bundle essential installation accessories (sealants, flashing, trim).
  
  
• Account Services: Handle payments, manage contractor accounts, and coordinate order pickups with the warehouse.
  
  
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, and reorder standard fenestration products.
  
  

Technical & Fenestration Duties

• Blueprint Take-offs: Read construction plans to calculate accurate material needs for whole-house window and door packages.
  
  
• Custom Ordering: Configure non-standard sizes, specialized glass (Low-E, impact-resistant), and ensure local building code compliance.
  
  
• Vendor Liaison: Coordinate directly with manufacturers to track lead times, resolve warranty defects, and secure custom factory quotes.
  
  

Key Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in building materials (specifically windows, doors, siding, or millwork).
  
  
• Proficiency with industry POS/ERP systems or manufacturer window design software.
