Looking for a Sales Director based in Southern Michigan. This position will require a hands-on Sales leader that will take full ownership of the sales cycle. This position will focus on Inside and outside sales with about 25% travel (some overnights).
Sales Director Responsibilities:
Responsible for both upside Sales numbers and margin responsibility.
Sales planning and implementation of sales activities.
Maintain and increase current accounts through relationship building.
Collaborate and lead independent sales reps.
Preparing quotes and proposals for current and prospective clients.
Acquiring new accounts
Overseeing marketing initiatives, i.e. presentation at trade shows.
Manage and document sales activity using CRM software.

Sales Director Qualifications
3+ years of b2b light industrial and or furniture sales.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good customer service skills / Positive Attitude and energy.
Bachelors degree in business or comparable training or experience.
Good knowledge of an ERP and CRM system.
