The Sales Coordinator supports the planning and execution of sales and marketing campaigns across digital, print, and on-site platforms. This role ensures prompt and courteous service to both internal and external clients while assisting the Sales Managers and Director of Group Sales with administrative and operational tasks.
This role is an on-property role.
Key Responsibilitieso Lead catching, qualifying & building the booking (All lead sources)
o Compile and maintain sales kits
o Assist with arranging site visit details. Including but not limited to coordinating transportation, dining reservations, amenities along with creation and distribution of site visit information
o Assist in gathering VIP amenity preferences and submitting orders into hotels amenity system for personalized welcome amenities and welcome cards
o Assist Reservations Team with travel partner leads in a friendly, timely and helpful manner
o Assist with expenses (Individual and Commercial Division)
o Assist Group and Leisure teams with creating merge documents (contracts, addendums, proposals, site forms, deposit invoices, etc.)
o Managing in office calendar for all client site and planning visits
o Responsible for submission of WOH points associated to commercial services
o Create diagrams via Social Tables
o Ability to work a flexible schedule that will likely include evenings, weekends, and holidays
o Perform any other duties as assigned
Qualifications- Minimum\: High School Diploma; Business or Hotel School Diploma preferred.
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Hospitality or travel industry experience is an asset.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Pleasant, outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Interest in pursuing a career in hospitality sales and marketing is preferred.
Working Conditions\:
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat);
- Must be able to walk, climb into and out of and operate a vehicle frequently, with occasional stair climbing.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently.
