Manufacturer of Process Equipment - Inside Sales Engineer

ARCHON Industries Inc., located in Suffern, NY, manufactures and distributes general processing equipment including sight flow indicators, liquid level gauges and steam mixing valves for washdown equipment.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our inside sales team.

Our company has been selling and manufacturing quality products for the general processing industry since 1993. We offer valves, fittings, gauges, steam mixing stations, hoses and other industrial products to the processing industry.

Essential job functions include:

Sales and customer service support.
Technical support for existing customers.
Heavy customer and supplier contact by phone and email.
Handling all inquiries, preparing quotations and submitting them on time.
Quotation follow-up and solicitation of new business.
Entering and processing orders, and tracking order progress.
Following up on material orders for on time deliveries.
Determining best shipping methods using ground, air or ocean freight.
Interacting with current distributors and establishing new distributors.
Training customers and distributors about our product line.
Visiting customers and distributors as required
Required skills:

Industrial/Chemical/Sanitary/ process industry sales experience preferred. We will train the right candidate.
Must be computer literate with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Knowledge of accounting, manufacturing and inventory software is helpful.
Heavy customer and supplier contact by phone and email.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Education:

College degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred
