Job Summary

We are hiring a Service Sales Manager in Seattle, WA for a direct hire opportunity with a growing mechanical services group supporting commercial and residential construction environments. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on expanding service sales, strengthening customer relationships, and improving operational and financial performance.

The organization offers a collaborative team environment, supportive leadership, and the opportunity to lead established service sales operations with strong growth potential. This role is ideal for an experienced HVAC or Plumbing service sales leader who enjoys building teams, driving revenue, and partnering with clients, vendors, project managers, and internal stakeholders to deliver results.

Two Service Sales Manager openings are available, with one role specializing in HVAC service sales and one role specializing in Plumbing service sales.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share for HVAC or Plumbing service sales operations.
- Lead service sales teams, project managers, coordinators, and related support staff to meet performance goals.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans for service sales operations.
- Oversee billing, collections, KPIs, financial reporting, and overall operational performance.
- Review contracts, pricing, scopes of work, and project risk for complex service opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, field teams, and internal leadership.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $125,000 to $135,000 per year.
- Competitive base salary of $130K+ plus incentive plan.
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Monday through Friday schedule.
- Minimal travel, approximately 0 to 10%.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Lead and grow HVAC or Plumbing service sales operations.
- Manage service sales teams, project managers, and coordinators.
- Oversee budgets, P&L performance, billing, collections, KPIs, and financial reporting.
- Review contract terms, pricing strategy, project risk, and complex service opportunities.

- 10+ years of HVAC or Plumbing service sales and leadership experience.
- Proven P&L management experience in a contracting or mechanical services environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or related mechanical systems.
- Experience leading, recruiting, coaching, and managing performance for sales and operations teams.
- Ability to develop strong client relationships and support long-term account growth.
- Strong business acumen, communication skills, and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Experience reviewing contracts, pricing, financial reports, and operational performance metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience managing service sales in both residential and commercial or office construction environments.
- Background leading multi-functional teams that include sales, project management, coordination, and field operations.
- Established network of clients, vendors, or industry contacts in the Seattle mechanical services market.
- Experience supporting long-term growth planning, incentive-based sales performance, and market expansion initiatives.
