ACCOUNT SALES REPRESENTATIVE
DERBY, KS
Job Purpose
The Account Sales Representative will initiate, build, and support successful relationships with external customers. Develop offerings for promotional products, branded apparel, uniforms, web stores, &/or interior signage within local B2B customers within their given territory. The Account Sales Representative will be customer-facing and customer-centric on the entire sales cycle from lead capture, bid submission & winning to 100% customer satisfaction on project delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities
Adheres to company policies and presents a professional, positive attitude at all times.
Contact current or potential customers to establish a tailored Distinct Ink program offering.
Develop monthly sales targets with associated actions within the sales plan to track progress toward annual sales goals.
Utilize CRM software to manage accounts, prospecting activities, sales objectives, and results - including key notes regarding customer conversations on current & future needs.
Responsible for coordinating Spec samples, Proofs, meeting deadlines and ensuring all tasks are completed for your orders.
Remain familiar with Distinct Ink internal production capabilities and limitations in order to present accurate information to potential customers.
Continuously updating knowledge of the promotional industry, including new products, sales trends and manufacturing techniques.
Provide excellent customer service and support for all customers.
Ability to maintain complete and accurate records and files.
Deliver promotional presentations to current or prospective customers.
Advice and recommend products or services to customers
Other duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. 2-year or 4-year degrees in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Communications, or related field preferred.
Minimum of two (2+) years' experience in B2B sales and/or marketing required.
Outside sales experience in the promotional products, graphics, advertising, or apparel industries is strongly preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to pass MVR.
