What You'll Do

As a Key Account Representative, you'll be responsible for servicing thecustomer/shipper base of ATS Logistics Services, Inc. by providing outstandingcustomer service. KARs will contact new and existing customers to secureshipments for current and future shipments; evaluate and maintain a shipper basein the data system on an ongoing basis; and maintain updated information on allavailable shipments.

  • Effectively respond to incoming inquiries from customers, utilizingextensive knowledge of ATS's transportation and logistics services.

  • Manage day-to-day needs of customers, with emphasis on order entry andtracking.

  • Use service-centric processes to build long-term relationships withcustomers.

  • Manage and grow existing business, while identifying and closing newbusiness utilizing direct mail, networking, and effective telephone salestechniques.

  • Negotiate and quote rates with customers, entering and recording all termsand conditions of shipment agreements on a daily basis.

  • Interface with national sales representative and Logistics operations teamto manage the account and provide outstanding service after the sale.

  • Proactively communicate with national sales representatives about the statusof each account and any issues that may impact the overall customer relationshipwith ATS.

  • Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listenand get clarification; respond effectively to questions; write clearly andinformatively; able to read and interpret written information.

  • Balance team and individual responsibilities; give and welcome feedback;contribute to building a positive team spirit.

  • Set and achieve challenging goals in support of department goals.

  • Results-driven communicator who is persuasive, professional, and confidentacross calls, emails, and customer interactions.

  • Customer-focused and service-oriented, with experience or strongtransferable skills to excel quickly.

  • Highly organized and proactive, with strong follow-through and attention todetail.

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with CRM platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, andsimilar tools.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Total cash compensation range is $45,000.00 to $60,000+ for this position;base salary range starting at $40,000.00 to $42,000+ and the position iseligible for a position specific incentive ranging from $3,500 to $13,000+annually based on

individual performance. Base salary offered is determined by relevantexperience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared toothers doing substantially similar work.
