Job Description:

The Account Executive - Equipment is an exciting NEW opportunity, with responsibility for driving HVAC Equipment sales while delivering comprehensive solutions to customers in the assigned territory! This role requires strong product knowledge, relationship-building skills, and the ability to execute a full sales cycle. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and customer-focused, capable of exceeding sales goals and contributing to the company's continued success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute plans and initiatives put forth by management.

  • Develop, execute and monetize a business plan for assigned accounts.

  • Build relationships with principals and key personnel within assigned accounts.

  • Manage engineering accounts to secure complete basis of designs to include:

  • Complete selections and schedules with associated notes to increase profits.

  • Complete specification to minimize competition.

  • Determine dynamics of project to determine if it is a viable opportunity.

  • Manage contractor/owner accounts to secure continued work and the relationship

  • Handle the relationship with the contractor completely through the construction process.

  • This includes managing projects, project managers when applicable

  • Cultivate and create markets outside of standard plan and specification work.

  • Provide guidance and leadership to fellow associates.

  • Train associates in every aspect of our business to determine how they can succeed and grow within our organization.

  • Entertain owners, contractors and engineers at manufacturers' events and company functions.

Experience and Requirements:

  • 5 years + selling applied HVAC to engineers and contractors for a major equipment line

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, parts, and aftermarket solutions.

  • Experience using ERP systems (FACTS experience a plus).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and respond to sales data and customer inquiries.

  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
