Our Omaha branch is growing! We have created a new position for an inside sales representative and are looking for a hunter mentality- someone who seeks an opportunity to contribute to a high functioning team and is willing to learn, seek out growth, and dive into a career pathway with a great company ready to support them.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct cold calls to targeted leads and prospective clients to introduce our products/services and qualify their interest
Supports Sales team with product and price requests as needed, including bid generation
Provides and qualifies new customers and sales leads to Sales team. Compiles lists of prospective customers
Provides back up to support Customer Service Representatives
Provides product information and education to sales team as required
Manages marketing materials needed for the Sales team to utilize in their daily tasks; Insures there are ample supplies of Harcros and vendor literature for customers, both digitally and hard copies
Tracks dead and slow-moving stock; assists with product code maintenance, including obsolete codes and new product codes
Support and lead various sales and marketing projects and bids within the district as approved by District Manager
Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and implements sales campaigns to accommodate goals of company
Inform regular customers of new products or services. Builds and maintains customer relationships
Offer technical advice to Harcros Associates at the branch level as requested
Partner with R&D to understand development of next generation products to ensure Harcros remains competitive and on the forefront of technology for the specific markets identified and potential new market segments
Develop and maintain relationships with industry consortiums
Quotes prices and credit terms; acquire costs and provide any supporting information for bids
Prepares reports of business transactions
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, chemistry, or related field preferred
One to two years related experience and/or training, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience within the chemical industry preferred
