The Horse Shelter Resale Store is looking for part-time sales associates. Our store supports our Horse Rescue in Cerrillos, NM. We have 100 rescue horses at our ranch at any time and our mission is to rehabilitate them and find them new homes.
The Horse Shelter Resale Store is located in Santa Fe, NM and is open 7 days a week. Monday Saturday 10 5pm and Sunday 11-4 pm. We sell art, jewelry, houseware, apparel, furniture and horse tack and saddles.
We are looking for experienced sales associates for 2 to 3 days a week, with occasional extra hours possible.
- Shifts are 9.45 a.m. to 5.15 p.m. (7.5 hours/day) Mon - Fri; 10.45am to 4.15 pm on Sun
- Beginning salary at $17/hour, with merit based raises.
- Ability to work on weekends and holidays, if needed.
- Pleasant demeanor and the willingness to engage and assist our customers is required.
- Willingness to engage in the further growth and improvement of the store.
- Computer skills and experience in POS systems preferred.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Receiving and sorting donations, restocking, pricing and creating pleasant displays is a daily activity.
- Processing customers through the register.
- Ability to lift, move or carry 40 pounds.
- Willingness to clean, sanitize and keep the store and workspace tidy.
- Experience with horse tack preferred.
