Sales Engineer
SummaryResponsible for developing and managing business opportunities within an assigned regional territory. This role combines technical sales expertise with relationship management to support industrial and municipal clients through consultative solution selling and project development activities.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the assigned market.
- Build relationships with customers, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Develop proposals and coordinate with internal technical teams to deliver customer solutions.
- Maintain sales activity, forecasts, and pipeline reporting through CRM tools.
- Support customer communication throughout project development and execution.
- Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and networking functions.
- Experience in technical sales, automation, controls, infrastructure, or related industries.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and work independently.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Bachelors degree preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
- Regional travel required, including occasional overnight stays.
- Valid drivers license required.
