Business Development Manager Live Events / Immersive ExperienceDepartment: SalesReports To: Director of Outside SalesFLSA Status: Exempt About the Role:The Business Development Manager Live Events is primarily responsible for providing expert knowledge to assist the Sales and Service to our internal and external constituents. You will engage daily with our customers and the Sales and Business Management teams. Working with Key Account Managers (KAMS) to grow a pipeline of opportunities for an agreed product range in line with the business strategy. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Nurture and further develop relationships with key customer accounts.Provide specialist advice on Barco Immersive Experience and Avid Live Sound Consoles to our partners and Midwich US personnel.Conduct training and advice on Immersive Experience products.Attend trade shows to further our relationship with our Dealer and Vendor partners.Have face-to-face meetings with Strategic Accounts to develop their understanding of Midwichs Immersive Experience offerings.Provide sales training to our Dealers so they can be more relevant and bring Midwich into more opportunities.Maintain open conversation with our vendors to communicate our value to them, to keep in lock step on opportunities and joint efforts to bring more business to our partners and Midwich.Assist KAMs on being the Category Expert on Live Events / Immersive Experience products, and to bring opportunities to them so they can find a suitable partner in their territory to assist end users.Seek out new Dealer partners.Follow-up with respective KAMs or Inside Sales to keep the opportunity pipeline accurate.Met set quarterly goal of business growth determined by sales booked.Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. What Were Looking For:A bachelors degree in business/economics and/or Telecom and/or Media preferred.CTS certification is a plus.5+ years of demonstrated sales and marketing management experience in the AV products and services industry.Proven ability to lead others in a sales network to meet and exceed measurable sales and revenue growth.A proven track record of driving profitable growth and demonstration of established relationships. A strategic thinker who can architect a sales strategy while also being tactical and hands-on in the rollout of operational initiatives. Highly skilled in negotiations with strong business acumen. Strong customer focus, with excellent time management and organizational skills while managing multiple projects. Seasoned cross-functional communicator with solid business ethics. Strong ability to effectively communicate (oral and written).
