Position Overview

As the Head of Sales within PNC's Linga organization, you will be based remotely.

Linga is seeking a results-driven, strategic Head of Sales to lead revenue growth across our Point of Sale (POS) and Payments solutions. This executive role will own the full sales function, including direct sales, indirect channels (dealers, ISOs, and white-label partners), and expansion of the existing customer base.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Head of Sales will be responsible for building and executing a scalable go-to-market strategy that drives new customer acquisition, increases partner productivity, and maximizes lifetime value through up-sell and cross-sell initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Leadership

Own and deliver against company-wide revenue targets, including new logo acquisition and existing customer expansion.

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy across POS and integrated payments.

Establish predictable pipeline generation and forecasting processes.

Direct Sales Management

Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing direct sales team.

Drive performance through disciplined pipeline management, KPIs, and consistent sales methodology.

Partner with marketing to optimize demand generation and conversion.

Channel & Partner Sales

Build and expand Linga's indirect sales ecosystem, including:

oIndependent Sales Organizations (ISOs)

oDealer networks

oWhite-label partners

Design and implement partner programs, incentives, and enablement frameworks.

Drive partner recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing productivity.

Payments Growth & Monetization

Drive attachment rates and revenue growth for payments solutions across all channels.

Partner with product and operations to ensure competitive pricing, margin optimization, and seamless onboarding.

Customer Expansion (Upsell & Cross-Sell)

Develop programs to maximize existing customer revenue, including:

oFeature upgrades

oPayment conversions

oAdd-on services

Collaborate with Customer Success and Account Management to increase retention and ARPU.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations to align go-to-market strategies and improve customer experience.

Provide market feedback to influence product roadmap and pricing strategies.

Analytics & Performance Management

Establish and monitor sales KPIs, dashboards, and reporting cadence.

Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize performance across all channels.

Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility for executive leadership.

Required Experience

6+ years of sales leadership experience in POS, payments, SaaS, or fintech.

Proven success managing both direct and indirect (channel/ISO/dealer) sales models.

Strong track record of driving high-growth revenue environments.

Experience scaling a sales organization and building repeatable processes.

Preferred Experience

Deep understanding of merchant services, payment processing, and POS ecosystems SMB merchants.

Experience with white-label partnerships and referral-based sales models.

Background in hospitality, restaurant, or retail technology is highly desirable.

Job Description

Manages and directs a team to achieve business results and customer experience goals. May have direct sales and client responsibilities. Oversees the execution of strategy.

Leads and coordinates the daily activities of team members engaged in customer and/or prospect management activities. Achieves business results, attracts new customers and/or grows existing customer relationships by coaching and managing to defined strategies and tactics. Develops and oversees the execution of account and sales plans.

Manages risk/return and drives quality for new and/or existing clients. Actively identifies and mitigates different types of risk, such as regulatory, reputational, operational and credit risks.

Manages effective network of senior internal and external relationships, such as community or industry relationships, to actively acquire new clients and/or expand existing clients and enhance the client experience. Focuses on bringing the full range of PNC's products and services to the client. Leverages reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and successfully convert sales opportunities.

Develops team members while monitoring progress against individual goals. Motivates and develops staff, including acquiring top talent and managing performance-based issues. Effectively plans, organizes, directs, analyzes and evaluates staff and processes. Connects strategy to day-to-day activities and updates the team on a regular basis. As defined with the business, coaches team members on skills needed to analyze, evaluate and mitigate credit risk and to lead others on credit requests by utilizing advanced knowledge of credit fundamentals and internal credit policies.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $80,000.00 - $269,100.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education.
