Compensation 1099 Independent Contractor Position Expected Earnings: $100,000 - $200,000+ annually Compensation is commission-based and tied directly to sales volume and performance High earning potential for proven closers Position Responsibilities Conduct in-home consultations with residential painting customers Build trust and professionally guide homeowners through the sales process Prepare accurate project estimates and proposals Educate customers on coatings, paint systems, surface preparation, and application processes Follow up with leads and maintain strong communication throughout the sales cycle Coordinate with operations and production teams to ensure a smooth customer experience Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline activity Project Management Responsibilities In addition to generating and closing sales, this position will also be responsible for managing all projects that are sold. The ideal candidate must be capable of overseeing projects from the initial consultation through final completion while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include: Scheduling and coordinating projects with customers and crews Conducting job site walkthroughs and overseeing production quality Maintaining communication with homeowners throughout the project Addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally Ensuring projects stay on schedule and meet company quality standards Performing final walkthroughs and securing customer satisfaction upon completion Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in in-home sales Experience in the residential painting industry strongly preferred Strong understanding of: oPaint products and coatings oSurface preparation and paint application methods oInterior and exterior residential painting processes Proven sales background with strong closing skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Strong project management and organizational skills Self-motivated and organized Ability to work independently and manage schedule efficiently Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Comfortable using tablets, estimating software, and CRM systems Requirements Must be able to work as a 1099 Independent Contractor Must obtain and maintain a valid Montana Independent Contractor Exemption Certificate (ICEC) as required by Montana law for independent contractors in the construction trades Professional appearance and demeanor required Why Join us?
