A Day in the Life at Lansing: Inside Sales Representative

Inside Sales Responsibilities:

Embody our mission statement, centered on our values of respect, service, and excellenceAct as the primary point of contact for customers visiting the showroomHandle inbound and outbound calls, answering customer inquiries and processing ordersPrepare quotes for windows and other exterior building products based on architect plansProvide exceptional service to all customers by developing a thorough knowledge of Lansing's products and servicesUse our nationally-linked inventory management system to fill customer orders and maintain inventory controlBe willing to assist in the warehouse, including loading and unloading materials as needed

Inside Sales Qualifications:

Prior sales experience preferred, but not requiredHigh level of integrity and commitment to customer serviceStrong interest in sales and/or retail, as evidenced by previous job experience or educationAbility to work effectively in a team and independently with customersComputer skills, including use of a keyboard and monitorGoal-oriented with a willingness to take on new challengesKnowledge of building principles and products is a plusAbility to lift and carry boxes of building materials weighing up to 70 poundsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBilingual / Spanish proficiency a plus
