Business Development Manager (Remote Nashville & Murfreesboro, TN region)

We are looking for a remote Business Development Manager for our Tennessee Nashville & Murfreesboro region. In this role you will be dynamic and results-driven Sales Hunter. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a passion for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities. This role is focused on driving sales growth by proactively pursuing new clients and expanding our customer base, rather than maintaining existing accounts.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and develop a target list. Use various methods (cold calling, networking, social media) to reach out to potential customers.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
  • Generate and qualify leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales agreements with new clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target companies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecast reports to management regularly.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute lead generation campaigns and promotional activities.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Highly self-driven with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Comfortable using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads and sales activities.
  • Must be willing to travel overnight a minimum of 15%
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Sales Hunter or in a similar role focused on new business acquisitions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong ability to build and maintain relationships.
