Summary: The Territory Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing existing customer relationships, and developing new business within an assigned territory. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service to bakery and foodservice customers while identifying opportunities to expand market share.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs
- Conduct regular customer visits to assess needs and provide product solutions
- Promote and sell BakeMark’s full line of bakery ingredients, products, and services
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, and leadership) to ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of sales or account management experience (foodservice or bakery industry preferred)
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
- Experience using CRM or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus
