The Account Manager works to improve MCC Labels market position and achieve financial growth. This position defines long-term organizional stregic goals, builds key customer relionships, identifies business opportunities, negoties and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. The Account Manager focuses on three main areas: New Account Development, Client Retention, and Account Planning. This role is highly collaborive as it requires interaction with mid-and-senior management, marketing, and technical staff.
Responsibilities
New Account Development
- Work with teams to develop proposals th address client needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Participe in pricing the solution/service.
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotie appropriely.
Client Retention
- Present new products and services and enhance existing relionships.
- Work with technical staff, analytics group, marketing and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
- Arrange and participe in internal and external client debriefs.
Account Planning
- Attend industry functions, such as associion events and conferences, and provide feedback and informion on market and creive trends.
- Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the companys unique selling propositions and differentiors.
Administrive
- Submit weekly progress reports and ensure da is accure.
- Enter and manage da accurely within the companys CRM or other sales management systems.
- Forecast and meet sales targets
- Track and record activity on accounts.
Qualificions:
- Bachelors Degree
- 3-5 years proven work experience in Sales
- Travel up to 50%
- Knowledge of CRM Software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communicion and negotiion skills
This role is primarily office-based or home office-based, requiring extended periods of sitting, computer use, occasional walking or light lifting, and may involve brief visits to manufacturing areas; reasonable accommodions will be provided as needed.
