National Sales Director - Commercial Ventilation Systems 125k - 145k plus Bonus USA / Remote 20% Travel (Domestic) Overview We're hiring a National Sales Director of Commercial Ventilation Systems to build and scale a new business segment focused on plan-and-spec and value engineering within commercial HVAC . This is a highly entrepreneurial leadership role with national scope. Must Haves Plan & Spec + Value Engineering expertise (must understand both new build spec process and substitution selling Strong relationships with c ontractors + representatives / channel networks Commercial OR Industrial HVAC & ventilation background with a hunter/entrepreneurial mindset Nice to Haves Direct exposure to architects/engineering firms (or strong adjacency through reps) Experience with OEM partnerships / private label product strategies Background building new markets, territories, or business lines from scratch Qualifications Commercial HVAC / ventilation expertise Experience in plan-and-spec and/or value engineering Strong relationships with mechanical contractors and rep networks Proven ability to build markets, not just manage accounts, including strategic planning and roadmapping Entrepreneurial, hunter mindset, with channel connections Responsibilities Launch into value engineering channels, while expanding into plan-and-spec Build national rep and contractor network Partner with OEMs to bring new product lines to market Drive revenue growth and margin expansion Establish long-term channel strategy and market presence Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
