The Sales & Marketing Coordinator supports the sales team in growing sales and day-to-day operations of the group sales department.The ideal candidate is a highly organized, customer service orientated strategic thinker that is tech savvy with excellent writing and speaking skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Respond to and resolve customer inquiries via phone, email and CRM platforms
Perform various sales duties including prospecting new leads and developing group sales campaigns using e-mail, direct mail and cold calling
Work alongside marketing and sales team to coordinate and execute integrated sales campaigns
Establish and cultivate internal relationships with park operations and leadership to ensure the relevance and success of group sales and events execution
Maintain composure and a high degree of professionalism when handling and/or responding to negative feedback
Create content for sales flyers and promotions, website information, and mailings regarding offerings and pricing each season, including email campaigns via Salesforce
Promote and sell all aspects of group sales which includes non-catered groups, catered groups, online consignment, hard ticket consignment, and specialty groups
Accurately process all sales orders, including billing, accounts receivables, and ticketing aspects
Professionally represent and market Dutch Wonderland at industry meetings, tradeshows and off-site events
Oversee the execution of catered events at the park. Train and supervise admissions team members on ticket collection and customer service at catered pavilion events
Create and print hard tickets for group sales, including both catered and non-catered events
Assist with copying, filing and various other administrative duties
Perform general office management functions, including maintaining copier with service and supplies, order office supplies, and general upkeep of sales office
All other duties as assigned by leadership
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Sales, or related major is desired; Equivalent work experience will also be considered
1+ year of related experience highly desired
Previous amusement park, theme park, or waterpark experience a plus
Language: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.

Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift
Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
Ability to handle high-pressure situations, meet the demands of constant deadlines and coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable communicating directly with potential and existing customers
Must be comfortable speaking in front of large groups
Must possess strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to use office technology and equipment, such as PC, software, copier, and telephone
Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently
Physical Requirements:
Ability to remain seated for extended periods of time, while using a computer
Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for long periods of time throughout the day
Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders
Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or more
Working Conditions:
This role will be primarily based in an office setting with frequent interaction with other outdoor park locations
Some exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, snow, ice, and other weather conditions
Subject to frequent interruptions, constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, flashing lights, and heavily populated environments
