DEPARTMENT: Lobby Lounge Afternoon Tea JOB TITLE: Server Assistant REPORTS TO: Lobby Lounge Manager SUPERVISES: N/A PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: The Server Assistant supports seamless Afternoon Tea service by ensuring tables are set, cleared, and prepared with precision and care. This role enhances the guest experience by delivering every tea tier with attention to detail, accurately accommodating dietary preferences, and supporting servers to maintain a smooth, luxurious flow of service. RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES: Clear and reset tables efficiently and quickly, maintaining a polished and organized service environment Plate and deliver food to guests with precision and attention to presentation, describing every item on the tier Prepare and stage table settings ahead of rush periods to ensure flawless presentation Upsell beverages, including water and champagne, when appropriate Memorize all menu items and their ingredients to accurately describe offerings and accommodate allergies Proactively anticipate server and guest needs, taking initiative to support smooth service Listen attentively to servers regarding guest preferences and provide responsive assistance Work independently when required, while seamlessly integrating with the service team Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area throughout the shift Uphold grooming, posture, and professional presence in line with luxury hotel standards PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and carry trays or items weighing up to 60 lbs SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Elevated, professional guest-facing communication Strong attention to detail and situational awareness Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proactive mindset with problem-solving capabilities Excellent teamwork skills while able to work independently as needed Polished grooming and professional presence at all times EDUCATION REQUIRED: N/A EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Prior experience in luxury hotels, fine dining, or high-volume hospitality environments Experience in kitchen prep, plating, or food handling Familiarity with Afternoon Tea or similar formal dining setups preferred Strong knowledge of dietary restrictions and ability to accurately accommodate allergies LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES: Food Handlers Certificate SALARY: $17.57 - $19.57 For more information about the property, please visit:
