Base Salary: $54,000-$60,000 + Commission/Performance Bonuses

Were looking for a Sales Manager to lead, coach, and inspire a commission-based sales team to exceed goals and deliver an exceptional customer experience. In this role, youll play a critical part in driving revenue, developing talent, and reinforcing a high-performance culture within a leading home furnishings retailer.
What Youll Do- Lead & Develop Talent: Coach, mentor, and train Design Consultants to achieve and exceed individual and team sales goals
- Drive Sales Performance: Execute sales strategies and programs that maximize profitability and growth
- Own the Numbers: Monitor daily performance, assess progress toward goals, and implement real-time corrective actions
- Build a Winning Culture: Foster accountability, motivation, and continuous improvement across the sales team
- Recruit Top Talent: Identify, attract, and develop high-potential sales professionals
- Enhance the Customer Experience: Step in to resolve customer issues and help close sales when needed
- Ensure Operational Excellence: Maintain accurate sales reporting, uphold company processes, and lead by example on the sales floor
- Leverage Technology: Drive effective use of CRM tools (e.g., Podium) to track performance and improve results
- Proven experience leading or coaching a sales team , ideally in a commission-based retail environment
- Strong ability to analyze sales data , identify trends, and take action
- A passion for developing people and improving performance
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- High school diploma required; business degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Consistently exceeding monthly and annual sales targets
- Developing top producers and improving underperforming team members
- Maintaining a highly engaged, accountable, and customer-focused sales team
- Delivering a best-in-class retail experience
- Average 45 hours per week , including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Retail showroom environment with extended periods of standing and customer interaction
- Occasional travel for training or meetings
