Sales Assistant

A client of ours in the industrial distribution industry located in Nicholasville, KY is seeking a Sales Assistant to join their team. This role is a proactive sales support position focused on converting open quotes into finalized orders through persistent customer follow-up and meticulous pipeline management. You will serve as the operational link between outside sales and the customer, handling everything from CRM data entry and order processing to occasional hands-on support at the sales counter and warehouse. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

salary: $38,000 - $40,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Support high-volume sales cycles through strategic internal and external collaboration.
  
  
• Drive quote-to-order conversions via persistent, professional customer outreach.
  
  
• Manage CRM data integrity for all quotes, communications, and account opportunities.
  
  
• Own the customer inquiry process, providing technical product info and order transparency.
  
  
• Execute end-to-end order processing with meticulous attention to detail.
  
  
• Maintain foundational sales assets including pricing sheets and customer records.
